Your responsibilities will include the following;

  • Managing the Electronics Teams daily tasks and support them in delivering quality work on time.
  • Provide technical support to the electronics engineering team
  • Ability to work across a number of different design projects at any one time
  • Understanding and contributing to the development of the product brief.
  • Developing the circuit architecture and proof of concept based on the technical details from the brief.
  • Liaison with project team members and involvement in project planning for electronics development. 
  • Align and adjust to the project priorities provided from the management
  • Frequent communication to the project team and the management on the progress
  • Strong in documentation (generating and analyzing the electronics test result, be on top of the changes)
  • Handover of designs with a focus on manufacturability  

We will provide you with the tools and environment to enable you to be successful, but you will be required to;

  • Degree or higher in Electronics Engineering or similar
  • Ten year plus electronics design experience (audio/communication electronics a real plus)
  • Five year plus management experience
  • Experience using Altium (or similar package)
  • Passion for audio a plus
  • Good communication skills.
  • Understanding of project timeframes and the responsibility to deliver on time.
  • Attention to detail
  • Functional, user and cost design considerations with regards to electronics design.
  • Understanding of the need for compliance standards and considerations
  • Proven industry experience in developing and delivery of electronics engineering projects.
  • Past experience in analogue and digital audio electronics design for manufacturing.
