Project Manager - New Product Development

Do you want to work for one of the fastest-growing, most innovative manufacturer-exporters in audio technology in the world today? We require a Project Manager who manages day to day tasks of the project team to the macro timeline for the end to end delivery of project. You will be reporting to New Product Development Programme Manager proactively providing practical solutions to roadblocks to deliver projects on time, within budget and to high quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Generate project plans including timelines, resource mapping and budgets
  • Generate risk logs and maintain it throughout the development cycle
  • Professionally interact and dissect information from developers, design professionals, consultants, contractors and other key stakeholders
  • Streamline the project communication across the team
  • Delivery of projects from briefing through to production in a fast paced product development environment
  • Ensuring all projects uphold a high standard of functional and technical performance – in line with the RODE brand

You will require the following skills and experience to be successful:

  • 4+ years of experience in field of project management
  • Experience in software and firmware projects
  • Experience in consumer electronics or related field
  • Experience in both waterfall and agile methodology
  • Experience generating project plans including timelines, resource mapping and budgets
  • Experience generating risk log and maintain it throughout the development cycle
  • Being able to think ahead and identify key issues before they arise, providing the team with the best support all-round
  • Strong focus on documentation
  • Comfortable delivering to strict deadlines
  • Adaptive and flexible to evolving demands and priority shift
  • Ability to work across a number of different projects at any one time
  • Ability to manage third party developers including timelines and deliverables (in different time zone)
  • Experience or understanding in Agile Stage Gate process
  • Experience in using cross platform online project management
  • Experience in Atlassian apps (Asana, Confluence, Slack etc)
  • Self-disciplined team player, able to work in multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Good written and verbal communication to all internal and external stakeholders
