How long?

Resonating glasses remind me of space, endless void and nature. But how long are we going to be able to enjoy nature?

Behind the scenes of How long?

Creating a shortfilm all on my own was a big challenge. And especially shooting a 'behind-the-scenes'-video with nobody behind the scenes. So I tried to get shoots with my GoPro Hero 4 Black whilst filming myself with a Panasonic Lumix GH4.

I wanted to show nature without changing anything for the video. The spots I found cycling of the city. In some scenes Sachtler's ACE M tripod helped me filming without anybody behind the camera, not only for steady shots, but also for the scene I'm climbing a rock.

At first I composed the music for the glasses, using a piano and PreSonus Studio One 3 Prime. Recording was done with a Rode NT1-A condeser microphone and a Tascam DR40 recorder. Same for the vocals.

I tried to reduce postproduction to cutting and essential brightness control, in order to show nature as natural as possible, using Adobe Premiere.

Frankly, I'm really happy with the result and maybe I'll try 'filming-on-my-own' again!
